Newsletter special edition – Energy call for proposals (IEE)
The European commission recently launched a call for proposals in the framework of the Intelligent Energy Europe programme. This progamme is about energy efficiency and renewable energies.
This call concerns the 4 following areas:
1. Energy efficiency and rational use of resources (SAVE):
• Buildings
• Products
2. New and renewable energy sources (ALTENER):
• Electricity
• Heating and cooling
• Biofuels
• Small scale in buildings
3. Energy in Transport (STEER):
• Alternative fuels and clean vehicles
• Energy efficient transport
• Capacity building in agencies
4. Integrated initiatives:
• Local energy leadesrhip
• Strengthening capacities for financing of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in housing
